If you’ve never heard of Carberry you might wonder what it does. This ROM essentially allows you to remap any Impreza Turbo model from 2001 – 2005 and add additional features such as Launch Control, Anti-Lag and Knock Warning.

Carberry ECU ROM
Carberry ROM was developed from an original STI GpN ROM to enhance the capability of the stock ECU on 16bit Subarus, and is compatible with all 2.0 2001-2005 Impreza WRX and STi models.
It uses a Speed Density control scheme which means fueling is calculated primarily from the MAP sensor instead of the MAF sensor, and can be run fully ‘mafless’. The ROM is based off an original Group-N ROM and whilst retaining stock driveability and control systems, has been further developed with powerful features to rival many aftermarket ECUs.

In addition to these extra features the ROM retains all of the standard functionality including –
Closed loop fueling and knock control
CEL illumination and DTC recording
TGV Control (for WRX models) and AVCS Control (for STi models)
